Matthew Meyer

Matthew, Personal Trainer and Owner of Lake Country Training views personal training as great way to help others live their life to the fullest. There is nothing better than looking great, feeling great, and being able to actively participate in life! In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife – Kelly, son – Lukas, and 3 dogs – Taz, Dizzy, and Mickey. He enjoys coaching his son and his son’s friends / teammates in baseball, football and other sports. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, and working out on his own and with his family. Matthew has lived in the Lake Country / Metro Milwaukee area since 2004. He has trained, coached, and consulted hundreds of individuals ranging in age from 8 years to 87 years!

Education & Continuing Education

Matthew prides himself by helping his clients reach their health and fitness goals. Matthew has been an American Council of Exercise (ACE) nationally certified personal for over 20 years. He first got certified by ACE to be a personal trainer when he was 19 years old. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance from UW-Whitewater. Matthew specializes in creating programs for weight loss, athletic performance, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.

Whether you are just starting out and don’t know where to begin or are already in good health and want to reach higher goals, Matthew can help.

In addition, Matthew is happy to work with your doctor, chiropractor, or physical therapist. This ensures what you are doing is safe, and exactly how and what you need to be doing. He has helped many clients recover from injuries. He works with those in need of guidance to prevent or combat aches, pains, and diseases.
