FIT & FAST. Youth Fitness And Performance Training.
Building Stronger, Healthier & More Confident Kids. Kids need to move. They need to build strength, develop confidence, learn proper exercise techniques, and develop healthy habits they can carry into adulthood. They also need adults who lead by example and show them that taking care of their health requires consistency, effort, and discipline.
Unfortunately, too many young people simply aren’t getting enough physical activity. Phones, video games, social media, increased screen time, poor eating habits, and sedentary lifestyles have replaced much of the movement and activity kids once got naturally.
Lake Country Training wants to help change that.
Our Youth Fitness & Sports Performance programs help kids and teens ages 8–18 become stronger, healthier, more athletic, and more confident. We work with young people throughout Oconomowoc, Delafield, Hartland, Pewaukee, Waukesha, Merton, Dousman, Summit, Nashotah, Okauchee, and surrounding Lake Country communities.
Lake Country Training can work with athletes who want to improve strength, speed, conditioning, and athletic performance. We also have made huge changes in helping kids who are considered “non athletes.” Your child does not need to play a sport to train with us. We also help kids who simply need more physical activity, greater confidence, better movement skills, and a positive environment where they can learn how to train correctly.
Youth training is part of the bigger health and fitness approach at Lake Country Training. We also provide Personal Training for adults, Nutrition Coaching, GLP-1 Coaching, and Online & Hybrid Coaching, giving parents and families access to coaching and support for their own health and fitness goals.
Strong kids need strong examples. Build healthy habits early. Teach them how to work. Give them skills they can use for life.
Youth Training Isn’t Just For Athletes.
Youth Training Isn’t Just For Athletes. Your child does not need to be an athlete to benefit from training. In fact, some of the kids who can benefit the most are the ones who aren’t currently involved in organized sports. We provide youth fitness & sports performance training for kids and teens throughout Oconomowoc, Lake Country, and surrounding Waukesha County communities.
Our general Youth Fitness Training focuses on helping kids build strength, improve movement, become more physically active, and develop confidence in what their bodies can do. We’re not trying to turn every kid into an athlete. We’re trying to help develop healthier, stronger, more capable young people. Those lessons can last a lifetime.
Youth Fitness And Performance Training.
Train For Your Sport. Build A Better Athlete. For young athletes, simply playing more games isn’t the answer. Athletic development requires training. Our Youth Sports Performance Training is designed to help athletes improve the physical qualities that transfer across virtually every sport.
Programs are adjusted for the athlete’s age, experience, ability, sport, goals, and stage of development. An 8 year old beginner shouldn’t (and quite frankly cannot) train like an 18 year old varsity athlete. We meet kids where they are and build from there.
Stronger Kids. Better Habits. Better Futures.
The goal goes beyond what happens during a workout. We want young people to understand that taking care of their body matters. Strength matters. Movement matters. Nutrition matters. Sleep matters. Effort matters. Consistency matters.
And learning these lessons at 10, 12, or 15 years old is a whole lot easier than trying to undo years of bad habits at 30, 40, or 50. Right, parents? We aren’t interested in quick fixes. We’re interested in helping kids build a foundation they can carry into adulthood.
Lukas serves as the primary trainer for Lake Country Training’s Youth Fitness & Sports Performance programs. To learn more about Lukas, visit our About Lake Country Training page. You can also click here or the title above to go to Lukas Meyer’s Instagram page to learn more about him.
As a competitive athlete, Lukas understands what it takes to train consistently, work through challenging workouts, develop athletic ability, and pursue bigger goals. He also knows that athletic success alone doesn’t make someone a great coach. Great coaching requires patience, communication, leadership, and the ability to connect with young athletes.
Lukas genuinely enjoys working with kids and brings energy, enthusiasm, and leadership to every training session. He connects naturally with young athletes and leads by example. He gives younger clients a positive role model who practices what he teaches and holds himself to the same standards he expects from them.
Don’t just take our word for it. Let the people who know and have worked with Lukas speak for his character, work ethic, leadership, and ability to connect with young people. We’re happy to provide references and letters of recommendation to any parent considering Lukas as a coach for their child.
Because Lukas has faced the demands of competitive athletics himself, he understands the challenges young athletes experience. He teaches kids how to train correctly, work hard, build confidence, develop discipline, improve athletic performance, and enjoy the process of getting better.
The Bottom Line for Youth Training.
